We stayed at the Best Western Beijing Jan 7-10, 2007. The hotel was very nice. The staff was great. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and delicious. The beds were very firm, but comfortable. The only drawback was location. It was quite a distance from the major tourist attractions. Also, be careful about the taxi ride from the airport. Make sure they use a meter. Ours did not and charged us 300 yuan. We asked the bell man what the price should be and he said around 150. Our first rip off in China.

Best Western Beijing is really a new hotel and has good facilities. Furnitures are nice and clean. Free internet is a great advantage. It is located next to famous Beijing Antique Market, 10 minutes walking distance. Hotel staffs, only men, are gentle and kind. Be careful not to contact women staffs who are all impolite and rude. When you want to use public telephone, go to outside.
